Quick answers

Conditions and notes

Unit conversion at the same pressure reference. Does not convert between absolute and gauge pressure.

  • mmHg is the conventional value. It does not have exactly the same definition as the torr.
  • Changing a unit does not change the pressure reference.

Each row represents one unit of the starting pressure unit. Every column displays the same pressure in Pa using a different unit. For example, 1 bar is exactly 100000 Pa. The psi factor follows the international pound, standard gravity and international inch definitions. mmHg and mmH₂O are conventional pressure units. A physical liquid column also depends on temperature, density and local gravity.
