What Saha Hesap is, how the calculators are built and tested, how far you can rely on the results, and how to reach us.
What is Saha Hesap?
Saha Hesap is a collection of calculators for the everyday work of engineers and technical teams. The idea is simple: instead of hunting for a table or digging up an old spreadsheet, you enter your values and get the result.
- Every calculator is free.
- No sign-up and no installation. The calculators run in your browser.
- The site is published in English and Turkish.
- Use the button at the top right to switch between light and dark themes.
"Saha" is Turkish for "site", as in a construction site. "Hesap" means "calculation".
How are the calculators built?
Every calculator follows the same rules:
- The formula is shown. Each page states the formula and the standard it follows.
- Assumptions are written down. What the calculation covers and what it leaves out is listed under "Assumptions and limits".
- It is tested. Each calculator is checked automatically against known reference values. Values taken from standard tables are verified against the values computed from the dimensions.
- Units are flexible. You can change input and output units.
How far can I rely on the results?
Results are theoretical and for information only. Real materials come with manufacturing tolerances, and site conditions may differ from the assumptions behind a calculation.
For safety-critical work, such as lifting, anchoring, pressure vessels or load-bearing structures, treat the result as a preliminary check. The final design must follow the applicable codes and be approved by a qualified engineer.
New calculators
The site is growing. The category cards on the home page show how many calculators are on the way in each category. If you need a calculation that is not listed yet, or would like one moved up the queue, let us know.
