Copper Tube Size Chart (EN 1057)

Copper tube size chart: EN 1057 plumbing tube from 6 to 267 mm outside diameter with common wall thicknesses, inside diameter and kg/m. Labelled drawing.

For preliminary reference and dimensional comparison. Availability of each size in each temper, tolerances and allowable pressure are not covered. Confirm with the manufacturer's catalogue for ordering and design.

Conditions and notes

Seamless copper tubes within EN 1057:2006+A1:2010. Mass is calculated from nominal geometry with a density of 8.9 kg/dm³. Temper R220, R250 or R290 does not change the dimensions.

  • di = D − 2t. Mass per length = 8900 × π × t × (D − t), with D and t in metres. Some manufacturer tables print masses 0.1% to 0.5% higher than this value at large diameters.
  • Thin wall sizes of 0.7, 0.9 and 1.2 mm are common in some countries. For press and soldered joints check that the wall thickness is within the range allowed by the system manufacturer.
  • The table lists only outside diameter and wall pairs found in the charts of at least two separate publishers. EN 1057 defines more sizes.
  • The DN match for copper differs from steel pipe. In press systems DN15 usually corresponds to an 18 mm tube, see the pipe size conversion chart for details.
  • CSV download is unavailable because the sources do not establish permission for reuse.

Outside diameter and wall pairs of EN 1057 copper tube for water, heating and gas found in the charts of at least two publishers. Mass is calculated from geometry with a density of 8.9 kg/dm³.
